Abstract
The accelerated battery degradation of electric vehicles (EVs) is one of the most important limitations in the application of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. However, limited research has been carried out in this field to provide quantitative evidence on whether this limitation is as severe as it is often claimed. The objective of this paper is to investigate the impacts of participating in V2G services on the degradation of the lithium-ion battery capacity and power at 15°C.
