Abstract
I firstly will investigate the Ole Ravn and Ole Skovsmose (2019) book which is more overtly philosophical, older, and smaller. Secondly I’ll comment on the Ole Skovsmose (2023) book that gives an overview of the Critical Mathematics Education paradigm, and finally I’ll concentrate on the philosophical content common to both books and its relevance for the PME's readership.
