Abstract

This research work is focused on the Brazilian cultural movement Tropicalia. By the end of the 60's and through the fusion between Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) and psychedelia, the universalisation of Brazilian music was achieved. There is a worldwide recognition regarding the relevancy of this cultural movement and how it still influences upcoming artistic proposals.
