Abstract

If the Large Signal Network Analyser [1] is used to measure the waveforms present at the device ports, two additional calibration steps, a power and a phase calibration, are needed besides the classical linear SOLT-calibration. The aim of this paper is to estimate and validate a parametric black-box model for a crystal detector. This detector is used as a reference element to calibrate the phase distortion of a LSNA operating under narrow band modulated excitation.
