Abstract

Cancer is a life-threatening disease that poses several challenges, including for cancer survivors. One of the ways to support them is through the use of (cancer) coaching. Several studies have claimed to use such techniques, but we currently lack a clear framework on what is coaching in the cancer field. The present scoping review therefore proposes to synthesize the field of cancer coaching by highlighting the framework and definition used, the techniques implemented, as well as the current evidence of its efficacy.
