Abstract

Algerian authors writing in Italian, a part of Italian Migrant Literature, talk about Algerian civil war (1990-1994) from an "in-between land". This eloigned point of view, linked at the use of Italian, permit them to approach themes as the connection with State and Terrorism or the relations between immigrant "nostalgia" and the exodus after the civil war. With their use of popular genres (the detective-story and the "commedia all'italiana" in Lakhous, the dystopian novel in Dekhis), they found a way to communicate the contradictions of the Ninety Algeria and the difficulties of the immigrant integration in Italy.
