Abstract

With the introduction of the new law in the Public Procurement Act (PPA) of Finland, the importance of quality in public procurement is highlighted. It is important that legislative projects are linked to research and wider legal and social developments. We are very pleased that the research results of our project have been used extensively and believe that the government's proposal that is now being consulted is on the whole a positive step towards a green transition and more environmentally friendly procurement.
