Abstract

Synthesis and characterization of side-chain functionalized poly(3-hexylthiophene)-based copolymers for application in polymer solar cells is discussed. Different synthetic approaches are used and their influence on the thermal behaviour of the polymer and polymer-fullerene blends for solar cell applications is discussed.
