Transferrable skills workshop on collaborative and educational learning for teaching assistants to create maximum development opportunities for every student in an environment full of diversity.The interactive and hands-on training included:
-How to prepare a course unit, lesson or other course activity?
-What are specific concerns during a course? (How do you captivate your audience, how do you activate the students, how do you control your nerves?)
-How do you support your students? How do you assess students? (if this is one of your responsibilities)
-Can describe in their own words how to prepare a course unit or lesson and have tried and tested some of the topics covered;
-Can describe different strategies and issues concerning the implementation of course activities and discuss this with colleagues, in view of implementing this into their own routine;
-Possess the necessary inspiration to design and/or optimize the assessment- and feedback process of their course(unit).
