The final workshop facilitated in-depth discussions on housing, facilities, and public landscape, highlighting strategies for sustainable and inclusive urban development. At the Housing table, participants explored community-supportive amenities and the collective use of (semi-)public outdoor spaces, emphasizing resident participation to foster social cohesion. The Facilities table focused on integrating key services, including healthcare hubs (Zorghubs), youth spaces (Open Huis), the Sport Esplanade at Watersportbaan, a bicycle school (Fietsschool), and shared local and supralocal facilities like canteens and hospitals. Discussions at the Public Landscape table addressed the balance between urban density and green space, with a focus on the Sport Esplanade and strategies to integrate recreational areas within a denser urban fabric. These discussions contributed valuable insights to guide future urban planning efforts.
