Description

The aim of this campaign managed by Orano Mining was to evaluate the concentration of arsenic and other trace elements (such as Se, Cd, Pb, and others) in surface waters in the vicinity of former gold mining sites and their comparison with the natural background concentrations of watersheds in unaffected areas. The DGT technique was applied to evaluate the potential bioavailability of these elements.
