Activiteit: Talk or presentation at a workshop/seminar
Description
Generally, letters are flight instructions, different from the automatisms that keep us on the ground. Expression does not always follow precise rules, but rules need to be expressed somehow. Unsent letters are akin to inner rules. In principle, they are possible and not necessary. This is due to the level of dangerous sentimentality we use in them, of a complete sincerity that only personal writing can reveal. There is a great fear in them, a form of violence, and the certainty of unrequited love. These missives are monologues with the appearance of dialogue.
