Organisation profile
De afdeling Biostatistiek en Medische Informatica op de medische campus van de Vrije Universiteit Brussel is betrokken bij het onderwijs en O & O op het gebied van (bio) statistiek, medische informatica en e-gezondheid.
De leden van het team zijn betrokken bij het onderwijzen van statistieken en informatica, vooral in de faculteit geneeskunde en farmacie van de VUB in Jette. De afdeling coördineert de master after master in het beheer van gezondheidsdata, een eenjarig interuniversitair programma met UGent, UAntwerpen en VUB.
Ondersteunings- en dienstverleningsactiviteiten hebben te maken met het beheer van de ICT-infrastructuur voor openbare toegang (publieke computerzalen), de educatieve ICT-infrastructuur (ICT-klaslokalen) en computers in de auditoria, de hoofdserver van de campus, en statistische verwerking van wetenschappelijke gegevens voor medisch onderzoek.
