Aan de Vrije Universiteit Brussel wordt het academisch onderwijs en het onderzoek in de Scheikunde georganiseerd door de Vakgroep Scheikunde (DSCH), welke deel uitmaakt van de Faculteit Wetenschappen en Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen. Onze vakgroep bestaat uit 3 onderzoeksgroepen: Dienst Algemene Chemie (ALGC), Dienst Organische Chemie (ORGC) en de Dienst Analytische, Milieu en Geo-chemie (AMGC). Deze unieke structuur laat ons toe om een unieke Bachelor en twee masters specialiteiten aan te bieden in het gebied van de Milieu Chemie, Organische Chemie en Computationele chemie.
