De opdracht van de afdeling Gene Therapie en Regeneratieve Geneeskunde (GTRM) is de consolidatie van een competitief interdisciplinair programma in de moleculaire geneeskunde dat zich vooral richt op gentherapie en regeneratieve geneeskunde. Het GTRM onderzoeksprogramma is gebaseerd op de bijna 20 jaar onderzoek van deze groep op deze gebieden en profiteert van gevestigde internationale netwerken.
