- Architect Victor Horta (1861-1947), with a specific focus on the second half of his career in the 1920s and 1930s
- Architectural exchange between Belgium and the US from 1890 to 1940. Particular focus on the emergence of high-rise construction in Belgium, US models for standardisation and prefabrication, and American-initiated reconstruction projects in Belgium following WWI.
