LexisNexis awards the three best papers of every IRIS conference with an award and prize money. On 22 February 2018 the 3rd place pin this competition was won by the paper "Data As Counter-Performance: A New Way Forward Or A Step Back For The Fundamental Right Of Data Protection" by Laura Drechsler. She received a diploma and 250 EUR.
