Neural correlates of inhibitory control in adolescents with clinically disordered eating

Projectdetails

!!Description

Self-report measures employed in the assessment of EDs are prone to problems of non-disclosure and limited reliability. Objective behavioral measures of inhibitory control and brain activity (EEG) will be obtained in clinical and subclinical samples of adolescents with restrictive and binge eating/purging eating ED behavior to investigate the association between neurocognitive and clinical measures. This will inform diagnostic and clinical treatment methods from a transdiagnostic perspective.
