N2 - The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) in education has introduced higher expectations and requirements for teachers’ professional knowledge and competencies. This systematic review examined 20 articles published between 2015 and 2024, providing a comprehensive perspective on the core constructs of teachers’ AI competencies. The research identified four categories of teachers’ AI competency: AI literacy, AI-TPACK, AI readiness, and professional competency. Through comparative analysis of these frameworks, the study synthesised five core constructs of teachers’ AI competencies: AI cognition, AI application, AI ethics, AI evaluation, and AI professional development. These findings deepen our understanding of the competencies required for teachers to integrate AI into education, contribute to improving AI training in teacher education, and establish foundations for future research related to teachers’ professional competencies.
