Deliverable 5.3: The legal significance of individual choices and the relation between security, privacy and personal data protection

This report investigates the legal significance of individual choices for defining the relation between security, privacy and personal data protection. It constitutes a reflexive deliverable aiming to contribute to the interpretation of the findings of the Privacy and Security Mirrors (PRISMS)2 research project by throwing light on the role that law grants to personal prefer- ences in those matters.
