Samenvatting

Diffuse panbroncholitis (DPB) is an idiopathic inflammatory disease of the airways mainly occuring in Japan. It is characterized by progressive suppurative and obstructive airway disease and has a high mortality rate. It has distinctive imaging and histological findings and is usually associated with sinusitis. Treatment is typically successful with low-dose erythromycin therapy.
