Samenvatting
Deliverable 3.2 ‘EUTOPIA Recognition of Learning: Tools and Developments’ outlines the EUTOPIA MORE project's pilot initiatives for institutionalising EUTOPIA recognition tools to support diverse cross-campus teaching and learning formats originating from the EUTOPIA "Connected Communities" (CCs) and “Connected Learning Communities” (CLCs). The document details the development and incubation lifecycle of these community partnerships, including the selection process, monitoring mechanism, and the range of educational and research outputs, along with their impact on students, staff, partner universities, and the broader European Higher Education Area. The report also introduces a structured approach to recognising connected learning activities through a three-dimensional typology and presents the existing EUTOPIA Label and Micro-credential tools for recognition. Furthermore, it elaborates on the institutionalisation processes, focusing on the Community of Practice for Recognition of Learning, which aims to create systematic pathways for recognition at a local level across alliance campuses. Finally, the report discusses future directions, including synergies with other initiatives and the global outlook for EUTOPIA's recognition efforts, emphasising alignment with EU priorities for flexible learning, green and digital transition, and interoperability.
