Samenvatting

We propose to develop a meta-analysis of the role of the educational theorist in the information age, taking as a starting point the information age and knowledge society. What are the educational theorist's underlying values and operating principles? How will the intellectuel cope with [information age] educational concepts and create constructive networks? We will map some of the complexities of the knowledge society and stress the need for responsible and reflexive intellectuals, intervening in the debate between educational settings and technological networks.
