Samenvatting

We would first wish to thank Dr.Cronin and colleagues for the interest expressed for our paper. Although we acknowledge the fact that our study design is very similar to theirs (1) we chose to purposely focus only on articles regarding transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging for IASD diagnosis as witnessed in the listed articles in the References. In our study, we analysed the incidence of iatrogenic atrial septal defect (IASD) following cryoballoon (CB) and radiofrequency (RF) atrial fibrillation ablation after a mean follow up of 1 year.(2) This article is protected by copyright.
