Samenvatting

The performance of TRM retrofit solutions for damaged masonry structural elements is evaluated in this study using pull-out testing procedure recommended by the RILEM TC 250-CSM. The parametric analysis (textile/interface surface treatment/setup configuration) is designed to trigger different failure modes during testing and the damage progress is continuously and online tracked by an integrated monitoring system that combines the acoustic emission and digital image correlation techniques. Based on inspection outcome and the loaddisplacement curves obtained, it is evident that different damage modes occur simultaneously while the effect of boundary conditions and interface surface treatment is highlighted.
