Samenvatting

Silver et al. \cite{silver2021reward} posit that scalar reward maximisation is sufficient to underpin all intelligence and provides a suitable basis for artificial general intelligence (AGI). This extended abstract summarises the counter-argument from our JAAMAS paper.
