Samenvatting

In this thesis I propose a concept of learning to emic approaches in anthropological approaches to development. I propose that value is introduced as fundamental concept to an integral anthropology. I elaborate on a holographic paradigm and a holonomic approach to knowledge-seeking to describe the relation of unity-in-diversity and diversity-in-unity.
