Samenvatting

The role of hydrogen bonding in water-soluble polymers and as supramolecular interaction in co-comb copolmyer materials. The solid-solid and solid-liquid transitions of N-(isopropyl)propionamide (NiPPA) and the LCST phase behaviour of its aqueous solutions are studied by DSC, WAXD and FTIR, and the influence of pressure on the LCST behaviour is discussed. In a second part, the tunability of the phase behaviour of oligomers by the copolymer repulsion effect and the supramolecular intraction of the oligomers with the backbone polymer were studied.
